I'm Ben Mercedes II, a dedicated filmmaker with over ten years of experience in creating powerful stories showcased on Netflix and Amazon. Growing up as a minority in an inner-city environment, I've directly observed the challenges that young people face when they're marked by a criminal record early in life. Making misguided choices is easy as a youth, and without the means for quality legal representation, one might end up pleading guilty to offenses they may not have committed.

I specialize in collaborating with nonprofit organizations to craft their unique stories through short-form content, including narratives and brand stories. Additionally, I produce captivating social media reel content to engage their online audiences. My expertise extends to event photography, Headshots and videography, making me well-prepared to meet all the visual needs of the Clean Slate Initiative.
